About Us
Welcome to the Bennest Karate School Web Pages. These pages will
hopefully provide you with a general feel for
Edgewood Karate Academy (a divison of The Bennest Karate School.)

We offer three main styles:
Shotokan, Koga Ryu Ninjutsu and Jujitsu

Here at Bennest Karate School (BKS) we teach traditional Martial
Arts and have been in Washington for over 40yrs. The Martial Arts
are meant to help improve character and mental discipline as well
as physical skill. BKS is an exceptional Dojo, meant to be
accessible to all, including women, children and those without great
athletic ability. We offer instruction to anyone who is willing or has
the desire to
improve upon physical, physiological mindset, confidence and
character development. With proper training, Shotokan,
Koga Ryu Ninjutsu or Jujitsu will transcend into your daily life and
result in a more centered individual.

Along with the regular training (normally twice a week, but more for
advanced karate or higher ranking) the Bennest Karate School
offers several special courses, training events, and fun outings
throughout the year. Including campouts, rock climbing and Karate
football. These courses and training events are taught by a special
group of amazing individuals who train daily in the martial arts.

Please come visit us for a trial lesson, free of charge or obligation.
Bennest Karate School is a fun, caring and safe environment where
you can learn the art of karate. There are no contracts to sign if you
choose Bennest Karate School as your new way of life.

If you have any comments, suggestions or messages, we would
appreciate it if you would take time to contact us. We hope you
enjoy our website and get to learn a little about
Bennest Karate School and the Martial Arts in general.
