Holidays & Closures

     Bennest Karate is closed in honor of the holidays listed below.  We do not close for spring           
    break or mid winter break, however, we run a limited class schedule. Pick up the schedule in the
office. During inclement weather, please call ahead for announcements or school closures.   
    Tuition is not subject to adjustment for closures.

January: New Year's Day                                  October: Halloween

    May: Memorial Day                                             November: Thanksgiving

    July: Independence Day                                    December: Holiday Break  

    September: Labor Day  


     Uniforms & Other Gear

     Lightweight trial uniforms are provided for beginning students. Students ages 7 to adult should   
    be training in heavyweight uniforms once they earn the rank of Purple Belt. All uniform patches
    should be placed on the uniforms as soon as possible.


     Program Policies

     Please refer to your copy of the Contractual Agreement provided at enrollment for your specific   
    program term, tuition rate, and tuition due date. The following are general policies:


     Tuition Policy:
     Standard no refund policy
    There are no pro-rations of tuition for missed classes
    Payment is due for your program term regardless of attendance
    Returning Student Fees - If you are a returning student there is an additional $20 setup fee for   
    reactivation of your membership.


     Make Up Class Policy
     Youth and Adult students train twice a week and are provided bonus classes throughout the   
    week that they can attend if they miss their regular classes.  Our tuition rates are non-limiting so   
    that our students are welcome to attend as many classes during the week as they wish to. We   
    ask that students commit to attending twice a week as junior belts and 3 times a week or more   
    for brown belt and above.


     Guest Passes
     Students are always welcome to invite their friends to class. Ask for a VIP card from the front   
    desk. This will entitle your friend to a free week of classes! When your friend enrolls at BKS, you
    will receive a gift certificate for a 30% discount off any school merchandise!  If you enroll two
    friends, you will receive one free month of dues!
